Louis Koo is still preparing for ten film projects
22 May – After previously announcing a joint-venture with Emperor Motion Pictures to help save the Hong Kong film industry, Louis Koo recently revealed that his company One Cool Films is now preparing for their upcoming ten new film projects with the said movie giant.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor-producer, who spoke about the previously announced collaboration, stated that they are currently taking in many factors into consideration, especially when it pertains to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The rules about the gathering restriction could affect location shoots, and I don't want production to suddenly halt because of the changes caused by the pandemic. We have to wait until the pandemic truly subside before starting production," he said.
Louis also stressed that his biggest goal right now is to create opportunities for film workers to work again, while at the same time explore new things for the industry.
When asked if he has found the perfect subject matter to turn into movies, Louis said that he has thought of some but that it is subject to change as long as he can find even better ones.
As for his supposed star-studded film project with Eric Tsang, Louis said that the announcement will be made when the time comes.
