Liza Soberano is now part of Careless Music
22 Jun – Liza Soberano is now officially being managed by James Reid's Careless Music.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress inked a deal with the company on 20 June, and expressed her elation to be able to work with the company that work with young creatives.
"I was looking for personal growth in my career. I've been working in the industry for 12 years now and I've been working with pretty much the same set of people that I've been working since then," she said. "Not to say that I'm not grateful, not to say that I haven't achieved so much by working with them but as I got older, I started discovering who I really was and I wanted more control over how to express that."
Liza also added that she wanted to work with people her age, and that she was excited upon meeting with James and his team, whom she said are fearless in taking risks and chasing after things that people would usually think impossible.
It was back in May that Liza's collaboration with James' company was made known by her former talent manager, Ogie Diaz.
Ogie previously stated that Liza had wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood, and that working with the right agency would enable the actress to achieve her dream.
