Lisa Lau is balancing work with studies
4 Mar – TVB actress Lisa Lau recently followed the footsteps of stars like Louisa Mak and Fala Chen by enrolling in a Master's programme.
According to Mingpao, the "Daddy Cool" actress has recently started her Executive Master's of Business Administration (EMBA) programme at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) - a top rank university for Master's programmes.
Prior to her EMBA, Lisa reportedly studied for a Master's degree in Administration at the Lincoln University.
Lisa previously shared about her new goal on social media, when she posted a photo of herself reading the Harvard Business Review while waiting for her make-up team.
It is noted that many of TVB's raising stars have chosen to further their studies in the past few years.
Louisa Mak, who was a Cambridge Law graduate, successfully obtained her license to practice law in the United States last year. Tracy Chu, who was also a former beauty queen, took a long hiatus to pursue a Master's degree in Communication, followed by a doctoral degree in Law.
On the other hand, Fala Chen, who left TVB in 2013, enrolled in The Juilliard School where she pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Drama.
