Li Yapeng denies new romance
20 Apr - Li Yapeng, Chinese actor and former husband of songstress Faye Wong, has denied rumours that he is currently in a new relationship.
As reported on Tencent Entertainment, rumours of Li's new romance sparked recently when the actor was seen having a family dinner accompanied by a mysterious woman.
The woman, who seemed comfortable communicating with the rest of the family, was also seen taking several selfies with Li's daughter Li Yan.
However, on 18 April, the actor issued a statement clarifying the reports, saying that the woman in question is a business partner, who has also been helping with Li's charity, "Smile Angel Foundation", for many years.
The woman has also released an article explaining about her friendship with Li, whom she met more than ten years ago, stating that the actor has helped her a lot by investing in her musical project.
She also used the unnecessary attention to her advantage, by talking about the Smile Angel Foundation and promoting it to the public.
