Leo Ku celebrates sixth anniversary at home due to COVID-19

21 Jul – With COVID-19 cases starting to rise again, Leo Ku had no other option but to celebrate his sixth wedding anniversary at home with wife Lorraine and their baby boy Kuson.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer posted a photo of him and his wife feeding their son together and another photo of their anniversary cake, mentioning that it was the first wedding anniversary that he and his wife celebrated as parents.

"I had planned to go out after the 24th day of no new cases, but suddenly a new wave of the pandemic emerges, and the numbers were even more worrying that the first. There is one more life in the family. Kuson's health is more important than anything else for us, so we really did not dare to take any risks and decided to continue our isolation at home and observe the situation," he said.

Leo stated that despite being cooped up at home, he was still able to do his work by conducting meetings via video calls.

"For safety reasons, I also asked my colleagues not to go to work and to work from home instead," he added.

The singer also expressed his concern over the new wave of confirmed cases, and hopes that people will minimise social activities and stay home more.
