Lee Lung Kei's wife loses baby days before delivery
19 Mar – It was reported that TVB actor Lee Lung Kei's wife has suffered a still birth.
As reported on On CC, the 69-year-old actor, whose 40-something wife got pregnant with their first baby together last year, was originally due to give birth this month.
The couple even moved back to Hong Kong following the outbreak of COVID-19 to ensure safety and prepare for the baby's arrival. They also refrained from announcing news of the pregnancy to the public, and only told close friends about it.
However, with only a few days to go before delivery, it was revealed that Lee's wife lost the baby - a news that has devastated both husband and wife.
When contacted about the loss, Lee stated that he is doing fine and that his wife is also healthy, though declined to say more about it.
On the other hand, Alice Chan, who has worked with Lee in the past and has met the wife, said that she is saddened by the news, but hopes that the two of them will take good care of their health.
Lee is already a father of three children from a previous marriage.
