Lai Lok Yi and wife welcome first baby

12 Apr - TVB actor Lai Lok Yi (also known as Chris Lai) has officially entered fatherhood.

As reported on Mingpao, the 36-year-old actor announced on 10 April that his wife, businesswoman Nicole has given birth to a healthy 6.6 pound baby boy.

"My wife initially wanted to go for natural delivery. But the baby's head is too big, so the doctor suggested Caesarean instead," he said.

Lai also admitted that he didn't help cut the umbilical cord since he was afraid of blood.

The actor has also been sharing video clips of his newborn online, and expressed his happiness with the baby's birth.
