Kylie Padilla is careful about marriage decision
6 Oct - Although she knows that her marriage will fix the problem between her father Robin Padilla and fiancé Aljur Abrenica, Kylie Padilla stated that she will not tie the knot for the sake of pleasing other people.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke about the issue recently stated that her personal experience being the child of divorce has taught her to be realistic about relationships.
"I came from a broken family, so I know the reality of marriage. It's not just a piece of paper, a ring that you put on to say you are married," she said.
Padilla, whose parents divorced in 2007, stated that she hopes that when she is married, it will be forever.
"I don't want to get divorced, that is why I am being careful. I know AJ and I have a lot of things to improve. I know who I am and I know we're not ready yet," she said.
Padilla and Abrenica got engaged in November last year while they were in Japan for a romantic getaway. The couple dated in the past, but broke up in 2014 while Abrenica was romantically linked to his "Kambal Sirena" co-star, Louise delos Reyes.
