Kris Aquino counts the blessings in her life

13 May – Kris Aquino recently admitted that she has had an epiphany about her life while she was in recovery for the past two months, especially when it comes to her privilege as a celebrity.

As reported on Push, the actress shared her thoughts during a Facebook Live session saying that she has been enjoying her COVID-10 quarantine in a split-level villa overlooking the beach of Puerto Galera, and is grateful for what she has.

"It's hard to complain that we're here, my brothers and sisters and all, because I know it's harder for 99 percent of the population, because we have a comfortable place to stay in, we have a lot of food, and I am able to take care of my two boys."

"I realised through this whole experience that I should never feel that life is difficult because so many people have it so much worse. They seem to carry more than the hardships we have and it's really very different. I honestly feel sorry for the daily wage earners who are now in so much pain and it took them a long time before they got what they needed, those who took so long to get it," she explained.

She also stated that she understands that everybody is going through a new normal, and that if she will no longer have a TV show again, she will accept it as she has already experienced a lot of great moments in her showbiz life.

In the same live session, Aquino also announced that she would choose ten families to receive P 5,000 via money remittance as a way to help them.
