Koni Lui and Dickson Wong announce separation
11 Mar – TVB actress Koni Lui and husband Dickson Wong recently surprised many by announcing that they are no longer together after nearly eight years together.
As reported on HK01, on 9 March, the "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold" actress posted a long message on social media, which read, "The decision was mutual and peaceful, and we also want to avoid unnecessary speculations from friends of all walks of life. So today would be the first and the last explanation we would give everyone.
"In 2018, we decided to go back to being friends. There is no third party involvement in our decision. We only chose to keep a low-profile to avoid affecting our son's growth," she added.
As for the custody of their four year-old son, Koni stated that they will share it together.
"One thing that will never change is that we are still his parents. I hope that everyone will be able to give us and our child some space so that he can grow up like any normal children," she wrote, adding that she and Dickson remain friends.
The confession came a few days after tabloids revealed that Dickson was seen behaving intimately with a woman on the bus. It was also noted that Koni hasn't posted any new pictures with Dickson since September last year.
