KL’s famous fish soup restaurant, Hai Kah Lang, opens JB outlet

If you have a penchant for seafood, chances are you’re familiar with Hai Kah Lang, the renowned Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in KL. Excitingly, for those in the vicinity of JB, there’s now an outlet just 15 minutes away from the JB checkpoint in Taman Sentosa.

Hai Kah Lang stands out for its fish soup and noodles, brimming with some of the most pristine seafood. As you step in, you’ll notice tanks showcasing live seafood, emphasising their commitment to freshness. The establishment takes pride in serving ample portions of succulent seafood, from plump prawns and hefty fish slices to large cockles, all without breaking the bank.

For the 1st step, you’ll select your desired topping from a range of 33 choices, each priced differently based on your selection. The topping options are extensive and include choices like white pomfret, red snapper, barramundi, squid, fish maw, prawn, lala, white clam, oyster, sea cucumber, abalone, and more.

Moving on to the 2nd step, you then choose your soup base. Options here encompass fish bone soup, dry style, porridge, soup with milk (additional RM2), tomato soup (additional RM2), and curry soup (additional RM2).

For the last step, you pick your desired noodles. The choices range from bihun, lou xu fan, mi xuan, yellow noodle, kuay teow, wantan mee, thick mee hoon, and even porridge.
