KitKat announces the birth of first daughter

4 Aug – Singer-comedian KitKat has recently welcomed her first child.

She shared the good news on social media on 2 August with a photo of her and her baby girl in hospital.

"My life is complete," she wrote. "Thank you, Lord, for this greatest blessing. I praise trust honour and love you, oh Lord."

KitKat also introduced her baby as Uno Asher B. Favia.

Fans and friends took to the comments to congratulate her, including Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sylvia Sanchez, Claudine Barretto, Yam Concepcion, and Vicki Rushton, the latter who wrote, "Congratulations Ate and Kuya!"

KitKat first shared about her pregnancy on Valentine's Day, saying that she and hubby Walby Favia are expecting their first child.

She also revealed the reason they picked the name Uno Asher, saying, "ASHER from the bible means 'THE LUCKY ONE, BLESSED and THE HAPPY ONE.' Girl or boy, that's really the name."
