'Kingsman: The Golden Circle' recruits Pedro Pascal
"Game of Thrones" and "Narcos" star Pedro Pascal is joining the case of a "Kingsman" sequel that will take place in the US.
Pascal is being linked with a character called Jack Daniels, according to Deadline, a curious naming convention given that the film's US-based intelligence agency, Statesman, appears to operate outside of a disused whiskey distilliery.
Taron Egerton, star of first British-based film "Kingsman: The Secret Service," is already confirmed to return.
Returning actress Julianne Moore and new addition Halle Berry are also being linked with the movie -- Berry is thought to have been approached to play Ginger, who leads Statesman along with Jack.
More certain is the film's release date as it aims to make a big impact the week of June 16, 2017.
