Kilafairy's Bollywood moment as she prepares for performance at Udit Narayan concert
13 Dec - Kilafairy recently expressed elation over being chosen to perform as a guest star at Udin Narayan's upcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur.
The actress, who was asked about the opportunity to be on the same stage with the renowned Bollywood playback singer, said that all she had thought about was her late mother, Rohana Jalil and how they would have shared this joy together if the latter was still around.
"Udit Narayan is a very special figure. I became a fan because I am also a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and most of the songs mimicked by Shah Rukh Khan in films were Udit's voice," she said.
Admitting that she was pleasantly surprised when she was asked to be involved in the concert, Kilafairy, real name Syakila Nisha Jangir, said that it will be a proud moment for her, seeing that this is her first involvement in a large-scale Bollywood concert.
Kilafairy, who was chosen to perform due to her experience and fluency of performing Hindi songs, also said that she would be performing a solo and two duet songs with singer Syamel at the concert.
The upcoming concert will be held on 28 December at the Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur.
