Kenny Wong gets more film jobs post-TVB
24 Jun – While some former TVB actors weren't so lucky in their post-television career, Hong Kong actor Kenny Wong is grateful that he is not one of the few unfortunate ones.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who appeared at the 12th Hong Kong Book Prize recently, shared that he is currently filming Benny Chan's new movie, "Raging Fire", alongside lead actors Nicholas Tse and Donnie Yen.
Asked if he will be able to cope with all the action scenes, Kenny said that he has been getting in shape lately.
"I might not have been able to if this was ten years ago. But now I am okay at doing gun fight scenes. Hopefully the action sequences won't be too hard," he said.
Aside from "Raging Fire", Benny said that he would be doing another crime film soon throughout summer.
When mentioned that he has been getting one job offer after another since leaving TVB, Kenny said that it was all fated.
"Maybe I wasn't mature enough in the past," he added.
