Kenneth Ng in discussions to return to ATV

21 Dec – Veteran actor Kenneth Ng recently made a rare appearance at the unveiling of ATV's new line-up to express support for the company's revival.

As reported on Mingpao, the 86-year-old actor, who is also father of actress-producer Sandra Ng, shared that aside from being there to cheer the company on, he is currently in discussion with ATV for a future cooperation.

"It would be great if we can bring back "Mark Six". I am still interested to work in front of the camera even after more than 40 years," he said.

"Mark Six" is the only legal lottery in Hong Kong broadcasted on television, although it is still considered illegal in China. The actor also earned the nickname Mr. Mark Six after hosting the live telecast for nearly 17 years.

When asked if he is still able to work at his age, Kenneth stated that he is still strong enough after more than 40 years of being in the industry.

"But my daughter Sandra is worried about me working too much, so I have to pick and choose the projects," he added.
