Keiichiro Koyama is excited for first lead role
11 Sep - NEWS' star Keiichiro Koyama is excited for his first lead role in the upcoming drama, "Takasugi's Family Bento".
Sharing his thoughts about the project on social media on 10 September, the singer posted, "Working as a team with the cast and staff, filming every day with rave reviews. Feeling joyful and grateful, motivated by each new day. I hope the kindness and warmth of this drama reaches as many people as possible!!"
In a previous interview with the media, Keiichiro said that he is honoured to be given the opportunity to star in his first serial drama after 24 years in the industry.
"I feel the pressure but also look forward to the challenge," he added.
Based on the slice of life manga of the same name by Nozomi Yanahara, "Takasugi's Family Bento" tells the story of the relationship between Harumi, a 30-something single guy and post-doctorate in geology who keeps doing temp jobs; and his orphaned 12-year-old cousin Kururi whom is put under his care.
The role of Kururi is portrayed by Kokoro Hirasawa.
