9 May - A rep from the variety show "Keep Running" (also known as China's Running Man) has recently addressed allegations that the show was trying to hide the fact that its member, Luhan was injured while playing one of the games in the show.

In the recent episode of the hit variety show, the former EXO member was tasked to carry fellow member Dilraba Dilmurat on his shoulders inside a swimming pool while she and guest star Lin Chi-ling (being carried by Wong Cho Lam) try to rip each other's tags.

While Luhan's face was seen in the first few minutes of the game, fans began to notice that he was no longer seen on camera in the final round, while some eagle-eyed netizens realised that Dilraba was carried by Deng Chao in the later part of the game.

It was later revealed that Luhan had to take a break due to an injury to his waist, and was replaced by the team leader. Fans began to speculate that the producers were trying to hide the fact that it had risked its star's safety by not addressing it on the show.

In response to the criticisms, the show explained that all the games linked with the show have been repeatedly tested by the staff to ensure its safety. At the same time, the show also provided professionals who can aid the members if there is any issue.

The show explained that Luhan had sprained his waist in the last round of the game and couldn't continue with it. In order not to affect the game, Deng decided to replace him while Luhan received treatment on the sidelines.

However, due to the limited duration of the programme, the show decided not to show the whole incident in its final cut. Instead the last round was edited so that only Dilraba's face was shown to represent her team.
