Katy Kung launches dessert shop Kew+ Cake

25 Aug – Katy Kung is both happy and nervous as she launches her dessert shop, Kew+ Cake in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the launch alongside rumoured boyfriend and pastry chef Tetsuya Matsuoka, stated that she is under a lot of pressure investing in the business, likening the amount to buying a property.

"Two more stores will be opened in September and October. Doing business is not easy. But fortunately, there is a group of people that supports me and we all invest together," she said.

However, when teased about her rumoured relationship with Tetsuya, Katy quickly responded that he is just a business partner.

She also added that she is delaying any plans for marriage or children for now that she has the dessert shop.

"Grace [Chan] and Zoie [Tam] put a lot of effort in taking care of the children and I don't think I am mentally prepared for that. I like children very much but I will be their nanny for the time being," she added.
