Kathy Yuen tries to pass off as a teenager in new movie

25 Aug - Turning 30 in October this year, Hong Kong actress Kathy Yuen admitted that she is doing her best to pass off as a secondary school student in her new movie, "Sun Moon Star" (working title).

As reported on Singtao, the actress, who appeared at the shooting location in San Po Kong, shared that it had been ages since she wore a high school uniform, and it had brought a lot of nostalgia for her, especially when she has to work alongside Japanese actor Daichi Harashima.

"Daichi loves playing basketball, and I used to love watching boys playing in the court at my school. I was like the silent supportive type," she said.

When asked if she was the kind of high school student who would take the initiative when it comes to dating, Kathy shared that she was an introvert who didn't have a lot of friends from the opposite sex.

"Sometimes I would find an excuse to get close to a guy, but I wouldn't dare to take too much initiative," she said.

With the year 1992 as its backdrop, Benny Lau's "Sun Moon Star" tells the story of a friendship between a school girl and her classmate as they continue to communicate with each other through letters following the latter's forced departure from their school.
