Kathy Yuen happy to work with Patrick Kong again
2 Sep – Kathy Yuen was elated to receive praise from director Patrick Kong, who commended her for her performance in the TVB series, "Al Cappuccino".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress whose performance in the new series was highly praised by many stated that she is extremely honoured to have worked with the said director in the 2012 film, "Natural Born Lovers" and again in their new project, especially since she had grown up watching Patrick's movies.
The two is set to collaborate with each other again for the new movie, "The Blind Girl" (working title).
When asked if there will be further breakthroughs in her future work, Kathy said that actors should work hard if they want to break through, and that she is willing to accept many more challenges in the future.
In a previous interview, Patrick stated that he had been paying attention to Kathy's work since they worked together in the 2012 movie, and thinks that the actress' performance has continued to improve over the years.
He also stated that he had always wanted to work with Kathy again, which is why he offered her a role in the new project.
