Karen Reyes admits she is a mother of two children

13 May – Pinoy Big Brothers alumna Karen Reyes recently surprised many with the announcement that she is actually a mother of two.

The actress shared the surprise in a vlog she posted on YouTube on Mother's Day, saying that she has a two-year-old named Olivia and a nine-month-old baby named Lucas.

Reyes said that she got pregnant with Olivia back in 2016 while filming the movie, "My Ex and Whys" with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. However, she kept the pregnancy a secret, afraid that she might lose opportunities for more showbiz work because of her situation.

"I just didn't know what I was going to do. I was afraid of judgements," she said in tears, though stressed that she was crying tears of joy for finally being able to share about her kids.

Her second child Lucas was born in July 2019, adding that she was taping ABS-CBN drama, "Asintado" while pregnant with him, whom she said was unexpected baby.

Reyes said that she had a realisation about her role as a mother during the enhanced community quarantine, adding that she is proud of her two children and should not afraid to identify herself as a mother anymore.
