Kara Hui: I have had 89 stitches to my face!
17 Feb - Kara Hui recently made the admission that she had undergone plastic surgery procedures multiple times throughout her career.
The actress decided to reveal that fact on an episode of the reality show, "Everybody Stand By", when participating actors were asked whether they had gone under the knife.
While some of them were too embarrassed to admit, Kara, who is one of the mentors on the show, decided to confess that she had work done on her face.
The action star said that in her early years, she often filmed high-risk action scenes, and sustained fractures and injuries to her mouth, eyes, cheekbones and other parts. To restore her appearance, she underwent plastic surgery, but that her face still looks a little unnatural.
"I have had 89 stitches on my face," she added.
She hopes that the actors present can speak out bravely, saying, "Do you think there is a problem with plastic surgery? If it is necessary, it's okay!"
The comments attracted a lot of attention, with many praising Kara for her bluntness, as well as her dedication to her craft.
Meanwhile others couldn't help but laugh, saying that Kara did not have an "aesthetic" cosmetic surgery like most actresses, but a "reconstructive" one.
