Jung Jin-young in talks for "You are the Apple of My Eye"
16 May - It was reported that B1A4's Jinyoung is set to star in the Korean remake of Taiwanese hit film, "You are the Apple of My Eye" with TWICE's Dahyun.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer's agency has confirmed the offer to the media, saying, "We have received an invitation for this project and are actively discussing it."
It is noted that Jinyoung has starred in several movies and TV series since the early 2010s, including the hit "Miss Granny", "Love in the Moonlight", as well as the web series, "Sweet Home".
Meanwhile, Dahyun's camp JYP Entertainment has also confirmed that they are currently in talks for the singer to play the lead.
The Giddens Ko-directed "You are the Apple of My Eye" is a 2011 coming of age romance film that stars Kai Ko as Ko Ching-teng, a former mischievous student turned writer and Michelle Chen as Shen Chia-yi, an honour student who helps Ko improve his grades.
The movie was a big hit when it was released in 2011.
