Julian Cheung admits challenges of filming in summer

18 May – Julian Cheung recently acknowledged the fact that there is a risk of heat stroke when you are filming a movie in the summer, which is why he rarely takes on filming projects during the season.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who is currently filming his new movie "Death Notify", spoke about the challenges of filming during the summer when addressing recent reports - that several production crew members suffered from minor heat stroke while they were filming in Admiralty.

"I was not on the set when that happened, but I do admit that the past few days had been very hot," he said.

Julian said that such incidents had happened to him a few times in the past too.

"I remember it happened once when I was filming in Hengdian. But I was fine after drinking some cooling beverage. But the extras had it really bad. Those who played soldiers had to stand in the sun for several hours," he said.

The actor added that such situations is the reason why he would usually take projects that film in winter.

"Actors may look glorious on camera, but only they know how much pain they are suffering. I can only try to withhold myself during the breaks," he added.
