Julia Roberts shared an adorable snap to mark her 21st wedding anniversary on Tuesday, 4 July.

Taking to Instagram, the iconic actress shared a throwback snap of herself and her husband, cinematographer Daniel Moder, in a passionate embrace. Sharing a picture of them looking happy and kissing, Julia captioned the sweet snap "💥 21 💥 #truelove #heckyeah #fromhereonout"

Julia and Daniel married on 4 July 2002 and share three children together — two sons and a daughter.

Fans and celebrities alike were quick to comment — sharing their delight for Julia and Daniel. Actress, Rita Wilson (who is married to Tom Hanks), commented: "Scorpio sister! Happy Anniversary to you love birds !! We love you both!💕" Celebrity hairstylist, Serge Normant (who has recently been working with Sarah Jessica Parker on And Just Like That) said: "Happy anniversary! I love you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

Julia is known to use social media sparingly, normally only posting to mark big occasions and moments. Prior to marking her anniversary, the star shared a video of an important campaign she's working on with Gucci about gender equality.

In the video, Julia speaks alongside some huge names, including Idris Elba, John Legend and Halle Bailey. Each celebrity talks about what gender equality means to them, and why they're supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Captioning her post to share her views on the campaign, Julia said: "I #ChimeIn for gender equality, because none of us can move forward when so many are still held back!

"Who do you chime with? What do you chime for?"
