Singapore swimming star Joseph Schooling has been appointed as the ambassador for digital imaging company Canon Singapore in a three-year partnership deal.

Schooling will be fronting Canon’s marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms alongside his parents, Colin and May Schooling.

The 23-year-old will also be making appearances at Canon events as its brand ambassador in the deal spanning 2018-2021.

“I am very grateful for the immense support I’ve received since turning professional. Having partnerships with renowned brands like Canon gives me the peace of mind to train hard and focus on my career,” Schooling said.

The Olympic gold medalist has previously signed up partnerships with brands and companies including Hugo BOSS, ONE Championship, DBS Bank, Speedo and Dentsu Sports Asia.

Last week, Schooling launched a swim school for children in Tampines in a partnership with a UK-based company.
