Joey Yung shows support at Wilfred Lau's concert

30 Apr –Despite rumours that they have already broken up, Joey Yung recently attracted attention when she came to Wilfred Lau's concert "Action Speaks Lauder" at the Macpherson Stadium in Mongkok to show support for the Hong Kong singer.

As reported on Mingpao, although the pop diva declined to be interviewed about her presence at the concert, it didn't stop fans from speculating about their real status, especially when Wilfred began to perform his song "Dive". Joey's song "Wallpaper" was also played briefly in a tribute segment, though Wilfred hesitated to perform it.

But when asked about their relationship after the show, Wilfred refused to say whether they are still together and expressed hope that the media will focus on his show instead.

"Everyone is a friend," he added.

As to why he didn't sing Joey's "Wallpaper" wholeheartedly when the song played, Wilfred said that he didn't plan to sing the song at all, and that he was only supposed to sing Supper Moment's "Kite" and Leon Lai's "No Longer This Life". He added that the intro music for "Wallpaper" was added by the music director.

On the other hand, Joey recently posted a photo of Wilfred on her social media account, and posted a long message to express her support for the singer.

She also seemed to confirm rumours of their breakup by writing, "People grow up. There are different levels to understand one's feelings. So no matter what the relationship is, the most important thing is that the feeling is unchanged. If you are happy, I am happy."
