Naomi Biden, the eldest of President Biden’s grandchildren, has a simple and classic shoe style. She often wears white and other neutral-toned heels in classic silhouettes to political events. In 2022, Naomi Biden held her wedding on the White House lawn, her shoes hidden under a stunning Ralph Lauren wedding gown. Her look on Wednesday similarly hid her heels under a statement dress.

About the Shoes
Platform heel sandals are a staple in women’s footwear. Naomi Biden wore a pair with an open toe, embodying spring paired with her cherry blossom-inspired dress. Platform heels are seen in a variety of shades, from white and black, as worn by Biden, to bright vibrant colors. Similar styles are sold by several brands, including Vince Camuto, Steve Madden and Gucci.
Platform Heels
Platform heels are a fashionable shoe option with an elevated sole to add both style and height to a look. These shoes are frequently seen on runways, as they’re more comfortable than a typical heel thanks to the extra support in the sole, and are a simultaneously trendy and retro option. The style is often seen in red-carpet fashion. Last week, Da’Vine Joy Randolph attended the “Ripley” premiere in London in 90’s inspired black platform heels and Alison Brie wore Larroudé Daisy platform shoes on the set of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
