Jodie Turner-Smith kicks off fashion marathon in feathered knickers and plunging mini

Forget red carpets and daily OOTD Instagram posts, there's nothing like a press tour that guarantees stunning 'fit after stunning 'fit. Take Zendaya, for example. The actor recently travelled the globe promoting her latest film, Challengers, and in turn wore some of her best looks maybe ever (that white pleated tennis-themed gown, we drool), with each destination requiring multiple outfit changes.

Anya Taylor-Joy, too, has been treating us on the fashion front throughout the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga press tour in see-through dresses, tasselled swim caps, backless lace-up designs that cheekily flash her bum, plus dresses literally pierced with arrows. Yep, it can be exhausting. But when the press tour ends, it leaves us hungry for more amazing fashion.

Luckily, Jodie Turner-Smith just entered the chat. And while she may not be method dressing à la Margot Robbie on the Barbie tour, the actress kicked off day one [Monday 3 June] of the press tour for the Star Wars series The Acolyte with a serious bang.

First up, we *need* to talk about the baby pink fluffy feather two-piece Jodie wore to start her day in New York. Consisting of a cropped sweater vest adorned with a black bow and coordinating high-cut knickers from Shushu/Tong’s autumn winter 2024 ready-to-wear collection, she accessorised the daring look with sheer black tights, patent platform Mary Jane heels, a small black bag with silver grommets and black cat-eye sunglasses.

A corseted crochet sea-foam green ensemble followed, along with a pleated paint-splattered mini dress, before Jodie closed the day in a fourth and final outfit.

She went all out in a Balmain plunging quilted mini dress with a peplum waist overlay and featuring pink sparkly embellishment in the shape of two flamingoes on the bust. She was practically dripping in diamonds, with pink metallic mule heels completing the look.

Yep, if these looks are anything to go by, we don't have to worry about a fashion drought anytime soon.
