JJ Lin's date with a girl was a set-up
18 Jun - Singer-songwriter JJ Lin was caught having a meal with a girl at a restaurant, and it has now sparked a lot of suspicions.
According to Apple Daily News, the Taiwanese paparazzi recently headed to a specific restaurant after receiving information that the singer was negotiating with his manager at the location, after a supposed fall-out between the two.
However, they were surprised to find JJ having dinner with a young woman instead. The singer himself was perplexed after noticing the presence of the media.
When asked about their relationship, JJ denied that the girl was his assistant and said that she was a friend who had just returned from overseas.
"She bought me souvenirs and we were just having a meal," he said, and stressed that he is still single.
His recording label, Warner Music has also expressed the same notion as JJ, and said that the singer felt he was being set-up.
Meanwhile, the girl, who identified herself as a 21 year-old university student, revealed that she has been friends with JJ since six months ago.
She also seemed to be hinting at something, saying that she is trying to keep some things a secret.
The girl also admitted to be unhappy that JJ has suspected her of setting up the dinner date to get the media's attention.
When asked if their relationship would be affected by the incident, the girl said that she would see how JJ would respond first.
