Dior's Spring show took place on 27 September at the beautiful Tuileries Garden in Paris, France, where Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri showcased a collection juxtaposing femininity and the rebel spirit.

Even the makeup looks complemented the styles – where Peter Philips, creative director of Dior Beauty coloured models' lips in black eyeliner (that's a bold move!)

Celebrities in attendance included singer Jisoo of Blackpink, actors Robert Pattinson, Apo Nattawin, Mile Phakphum, Karry Wang, Pierre Casigaghi, Joseph Quin, Anya Taylor-Joy, Alexa Chung, Dilraba Dilmurat, and Jennifer Lawrence.

For this collection, Maria focused on a reflection on the meaning of the present, where the past and future must coexist simultaneously. She also continued to explore the link between femininity and feminism, with the conviction that fashion has, more than ever, a responsibility to help women realize their worth and express their differences.

In each look, an architectural silhouette is delineated. Certain fabrics bear witness to materiality, a temporal memory and a deep knowledge of the work of Italian artist Alberto Burri; tears, lacerations and combustions become a constitutive, performative element of the Dior creations. Unveiled at the heart of an immersive scenography, an engaged project specially conceived and designed by Elena Bellantoni, the models are dressed in shades of ash, chamomile and love potion.

Love your music and your cocktails? Don't miss the launch of “Palette of Sounds,” a cocktail menu at Studio 1939 where the worlds of art and music intertwine in a symphony of flavours. The drinks look simple but are a riot in the mouth, and we love the "Trust The Bartender" option, where you can get a customised drink based on your preference.

Definitely visit in October, when the bar will launch its revised food menu with its signature sliders and must-try lamb skewers.

Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is inviting travelers to experience its new river barge, the Nam Jai, which is available for both group and private cruises along the Ping River.

The Nam Jai, literally “water from the heart” in Thai, but more commonly understood as “with heart” or “kindness”, is an antique teak rice barge that has been restored by hand and outfitted with comfortable seating for eight. Cruises will set off from the resort’s newly built private pier, Long Muan, which means “fun sailing” in the local Lanna dialect.

There are two itineraries for guests to choose from. The sunrise cruise departs at 9am for the nearby Wat Ket Karam. One of Chiang Mai’s oldest communities, Wat Ket, it is a melting pot of cultures – Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Sikh – with their different houses of worship built side by side. Guests will have the opportunity to make merit with the Buddhist monks, then cross the road to snack at what was once the city’s best-kept secret, but now is in the Michelin guide – the simple roadside stall Lung Kajohn which serves up delicious bite-sized steamed rice dumplings, Khao Kriab Pak Moh. From there, it is a short stroll to the quaint pedestrian bridge of Khua Khaek for views of the river and Doi Suthep in the background.

The twilight voyage departs at 5pm, sailing north past some of the city’s most iconic bridges, small temples and into lush green. This is a magical time of day, when the air stills and the sky begins to glow ochre then pink. Guests enjoy free-flow sparkling wine, canapes and a romance to savour.

The Nam Jai cruise is ready to welcome all guests, with prices beginning at THB 1,800++ per person for sunrise cruise and THB 2,800++ per person for twilight voyage. For more information or reservations, visit anantara.com/chiang-mai/restaurants/nam-jai-river-cruise.
