Jinny Ng slams netizen for insulting her baby
8 Jun - A vicious comment from a Netizen has recently angered Jinny Ng so much that the Hong Kong singer decided to respond with a fiery statement on social media.
As reported on Mingpao, a netizen recently spewed harsh comments on an Instagram photo of Jinny and her little family by making fun of her daughter Giselle's physical features, and mocking her for being born out of wedlock.
The netizen also expressed 'sympathy' for the baby for having no father, and for having a foul-mouthed mother.
Angered by the comments, Jinny posted a statement justifying her fury towards the said netizen.
She wrote, "An ordinary person may not understand why I feel the need to protect my daughter from the public, but when you are a public figure and become the target of the online world and the media who say you are a whore and a gold digger, and you know that nothing you say will help the situation, you will understand how to protect the people around you."
She continued, "My daughter is my daughter. I don't have a choice and my daughter doesn't have a choice. As a mother, I hope to always give the best for my child. I don't want her to grow up being the target because of her mother's identity. Right now, as a mother, I am only trying to protect my daughter. I don't think other mothers would disagree."
Jinny added in the caption that she has always been the strong type that would just let things go, but not when it comes to her daughter.
"If I can't even protect my own daughter, then I might as well have not given birth to her," she added.
On the other hand, partner Alex Ho also responded to the insult saying that he would love Jinny just the same even if she does have a Princess Syndrome or a foul mouth, adding that he would forever think their daughter perfect.
"I will use all the means that I have to protect them. So please, think twice!," he added.
