Jinny Ng has no issue not winning lots of awards this year
12 Jul – Although she didn't win as many awards as fellow Voice Entertainment singer Hana Kuk at the "JSG Selections 2018 (Part 1)", Jinny Ng said that she is already satisfied with what she received.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who has been pitted against Hana since the latter made her debut through Herman Ho's music label, shared that she has no issues not being the centre of attention as she didn't record a lot of new music since her comeback.
"I have spoken to the boss before. I wanted to release only one of two songs a year, so that I could spend more of my time with my family," she said.
She again denied that there is any negative rivalry between her and Hana, though admitted that she has to work hard since there have been more and more newcomers in the industry.
"I have to work hard, and it is a great thing to be able to compete with your fellow colleagues. I also appreciate Hana's unique vocals," she said.
