Jimmy Lin shares first photo of himself since accident

17 Oct – Jimmy Lin recently shared his first image since his previous car accident to celebrate his birthday.

On 16 October, the Taiwanese star posted a photo of himself alongside his wife Kelly and three kids as he celebrated his 48th birthday, writing, "Thank you to my family for spending my birthday with me. This year is also the 30th anniversary of my debut, no matter what I have experienced, I still like to bring happiness to everyone."

He added, "Finally, my birthday wish is: "Don't worry about me anymore, everyone should be healthy Happy."

In an interview with the Taiwanese media, Jimmy stated that he has been going out a few times since returning home from the hospital; to either the bank or the hair salons, and that people were always surprised to see him walking freely.

"I am currently in rehab... and I'd like to take my family to travel abroad when my body recovers. I haven't been on a plane for a long while now," he added.

Jimmy spent nearly two weeks in ICU at the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital after a fiery crash that occurred back in late July, when the Tesla that he was driving crashed onto an electrical pole in Taoyuan City.
