Jet Li, Chingmy Yau reunite at daughters' debutante ball
3 Dec– Jet Li and Chingmy Yau were recently reunited decades after the release of their hit movie, "Kung Fu Cult Master".
As reported on Mingpao, the two stars, who are now parents of teenage daughters, were spotted at the exclusive French debutante ball and fashion event (Les Bal des Débutantes) as chaperones to their daughters - Jet's 19-year-old Jane Li, and Chingmy's 18-year-old Shum Yuet.
It is noted that Jet and Chingmy had not seen each other for many years, with the actor living in foreign countries in many years while the actress retired from the movie scene. Also seen at the event was Jet's wife Nina Li and their younger daughter Jada, as well as Chingmy's second daughter Shum Yat.
The two have worked together in three films throughout the '90s, including 1994's "The New Legend of Shaolin", and 1995's "High Risk".
Le Bal des Débutantes is an annual event that brings together girls of age 16 to 22 from many countries while raising money for charity. However, these girls only come from influential families.
Among other celebrity daughters seen at the same event include Julio Iglesias' twin daughters Cristina and Victoria, and Kayla Rockefeller - daughter of the renowned US billionaire, Steven C. Rockefeller Jr.
