Jerry Yan congratulates Lin Chi-ling for marriage
10 Jun – Taiwanese actor Jerry Yan has congratulated former girlfriend Lin Chi-ling for her marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor's manager shared that Jerry, who is currently filming in Beijing, was first surprised over the news that the actress has married Japanese singer Akira.
"But then he said, "I wish her all the best. Congratulations!"," the manager said.
He added that Jerry was not negatively affected by Lin's marriage and accepted the news wholeheartedly.
Jerry and Lin had been in an on-off relationship since the early 2000s prior to the actress' marriage. The former couple got fans excited when they were spotted together in Kuala Lumpur in 2017, though Lin later admitted that it led to nothing.
