Jericho Rosales' short film to compete at Tampere Film Fest
14 Feb – It was revealed that Jericho Rosales' short film, "Basurero" has been selected to compete at another film festival.
As reported on Push, the news was shared by the actor himself who posted on Instagram, "Our short film Basurero has been selected as an official entry for the [Tampere Film Festival] in Finland!"
"Congratulations to our director Eileen Cabiling and the rest of the crew for this accomplishment and thank you for sharing your voice to speak for those who cannot," he added.
The movie stars Rosales as a fisherman who is battling with his own conscience as he makes a living dumping dead bodies of murder victims into the sea.
The 50th Tampere Film Festival, known as one of the most important European short film festivals, will be running from 4 to 8 March 2020.
"Basurero" previously competed in the Wide Angle Section of the 24th Busan International Film Festival.
