8 Mar - Rumour has it that Jelly Lin Yun is now no longer under Stephen Chow's company.
As reported on Sohu, the 26-year-old actress reportedly has parted ways with the comedy auteur after her eight-year contract expired.
Sources claimed that Jelly will now be developing independently.
The actress, who maintains a good relationship with Stephen throughout the years, made her debut through the filmmaker's 2016 film, "The Mermaid", besting thousands of aspiring Sing Girls who auditioned for the lead role.
At the time, when asked why he chose Jelly, who had a resemblance to Taiwanese actress Shu Qi, Stephen said that Jelly was a blank slate, which enabled him to shape her into what the media called "the female Stephen Chow".
