Jeannie Hsieh continues mourning after performance

24 May - Jeannie Hsieh recently made her return back to Taiwan to continue mourning her father Chu Ke-liang after completing her show in New York.

As reported on Liberty Times, the singer was recently spotted at the airport on her way home, although she was not seen at the funeral hall where the service took place.

However, Jeannie did get to see Chu prior to his passing last week.

She was also unable to attend the prayer session held soon after Chu's death, since she was scheduled to perform at the Queens College in New York.

At the event, Jeannie performed several love songs including "Crescent Moon", which she revealed to be her father's favourite song.

"I will sing it to you, and dedicate it to my father as well," she said to the crowd before her performance.

The singer also teared up while performing "Wanna Fly With You", as she thought about Chu, and subsequently cried "I love you, daddy!" before leaving the stage.

Jeannie's father and comedian Chu Ke-liang passed away early last week after months of battling cancer.
