Singapore stars Jeanette Aw and Mark Lee are in Tokyo to promote filmmaker Eric Khoo’s new movie, “Ramen Teh”, according to a post by the movie’s official Instagram page.

The film is about a ramen chef from Japan who travels to Singapore to learn more about his late Singaporean mother, and also features Japanese stars Takumi Saitoh and 1980s pop idol Seiko Matsuda.

The press conference for the movie was held in conjunction with the Tokyo International Film Festival, which is taking place from 25 October to 3 November this year.

Jeanette Aw also posted videos about the press conference on her Instagram Stories, where the cast and crew answered questions from the media and posed for photos. The 38-year-old Singaporean actress left Mediacorp and Hype Records earlier in October.
