Jean Paul Gaultier and Petra Collins Take On Hollywood Glamor

Jean Paul Gaultier just dropped a new ready-to-wear collection that aims to bring together fiction and reality. Tapping into inner Hollywood and its flashy neon lights, the collection campaign -- dubbed "FASHION FICTION" -- stars cinematic icon Jerry Hall, captured by none other than Petra Collins.

Celebrating and embodying the many historical muses of Gaultier, the campaign references cult-loved films like Blade Runner, Sin City and Blow Up, reimagined through the distinctive lens of Collins. Transforming Hall into a timeless heroine drenched in glamor, the campaign showcases new pieces from the collection like backless mesh dresses, oversized coats and knitted boleros.

"The women who began their careers within the Maison always mark an incredible time in culture. Rossy de Palma, Farida Khelfa, Laetitia Casta. Jean Paul Gaultier had an eye for personalities who, in addition to being models, were also artists. He had the sensitivity to recognize their multifaceted and complex talents. For FASHION FICTION, we wanted to pay tribute to these women who inspire future generations and embody the essence of eternal muses," explains Creative Director Florence Tétier.
