Jayley Woo finds new love and will be welcoming a baby
26 Oct – After more than three years since her heart was broken over the sudden passing of her boyfriend, Aloysius Pang, Jayley Woo has finally found happiness again.
On 24 October, the Singaporean actress shared a video of her in silhouette, riding on a bike with her new man, as well as a photo of her engagement and an ultrasound to reveal that she is now engaged and expecting a baby.
"Jayley, do you deserve to be happy? Do you have the right to love or to be loved?" her caption started.
"I don't know if a Capricorn woman is a bit pessimistic and melancholy. When something good happens to me, these questions will always be repeating in my mind. I still don't have a definite answer, but what I know is that I work hard and live hard... Today, I would like to carefully introduce a person who will spend the rest of my life with me."
"Because of him, I have finally realised my dream of starting a family. Dear Mr. Chen, thank you for giving me the reason and courage to live. I'm not a person who gives up easily, but I've also been negative. Thank you for not disliking my flaws, not caring about my past, and never abandoning me when I hated myself the most. It's my luck to meet you. I wish you a happy birthday here."
"Life is very short. I hope you all cherish the happiness of the people around you. In fact, it can be very simple. Now I am very happy. I hope you can be as happy as I am," she added.
It was in January 2019 that Jayley finally revealed that she had been dating fellow actor Aloysius Pang, of whom she had been secretly dating. The revelation came following the news of his death in a military accident.
