Jay Chou and wife name son Romeo
5 Aug - Two months after his son was born, Jay Chou finally revealed what he and wife Hannah Quinlivan have decided to name him.
As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese star, who appeared at a charity basketball event, shared that they have given their baby boy the English name Romeo, although they have yet to decide on the Chinese name.
Although it seemed that there is a Shakespearean theme going on (daughter Hathaway sharing a similar name to Shakespeare's wife, Anne Hathaway), Jay stated that the reason he chose Romeo was because he "likes Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie "Romeo and Juliet"," and hopes that his son will be as romantic as DiCaprio's character in the movie.
As for Romeo's Chinese name, Jay joked, "The surname must be Chou", and added, "first name must have the character Xia, meaning summer".
When asked how is he managing two children, Jay admitted that the house feels like a kindergarten, with one kid crying after another.
"It's easy to get along with children, but having them are very tiring," he added.
