Jason Zhang writes "Precious" for his twin daughters
22 Feb – Chinese singer Jason Zhang recently revealed that his new English song, "Precious" is dedicated to his newborn twins.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer who released the song in early February, revealed that the theme of the song is a father's promise to protect his children, which can be heard through lyrics like, "I'll protect you, I'll be your shield through the war, and the battles I'll be there", and "I swear to God I'll never let go."
Since it was a song dedicated for the babies, Jason opted for a light-hearted sound, with only an acoustic guitar accompanying his voice.
The singer also revealed that he had the idea of writing them a song even before they were born, and that wife Xie Na was very touched upon listening to it the first time.
Jason and Xie, who tied the knot in 2011, welcomed their twin girls early this month after more than six years of marriage.
