Jasmine Yen performs live for the first time in HK

27 Dec - Donnie Yen's daughter Jasmine recently performed live in Hong Kong for the first time on Christmas Day.

As reported on Mingpao, the young singer held a YouTube Music Live event at its first ever pop-up cafe Rhythm & Brews in Tsim Sha Tsui, where she performed eight Chinese and English songs including several Christmas songs.

Jasmine was not alone at the event, as mum Cissy Wang and dad Donnie were also there to support her, alongside her brother James and grandmother, as well as Cissy's good friend and supermodel Qi Qi and daughter Ella.

Speaking to the media after the event, Jasmine gave her performance 85 points, saying, "I have confidence in myself because I spent a month practicing before the show. I think I did okay today, but I was a little nervous. I think I need to perform more to gain more experience and get better."

When mentioned that brother James is good at playing the piano and that her father loves to sing, the singer said that they could form a family band.

"Mummy can also join as a dancer," she said, lightheartedly.
