Janine Gutierrez wins another Best Actress at FAMAS
21 Dec – Janine Gutierrez has won yet another award for her performance in the movie, "Babae at Baril".
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress bagged the Best Actress award at FAMAS Digital 2020 Awards on 20 December for her performance in the Rae Red's movie, which also won the most accolades at the event.
She expressed her happiness on Instagram Story, writing, "Thank you FAMAS, Thank you to team "Babae at Baril" and congratulations!"
She also thanked Red in another post, writing, "Forever grateful for you. Congratulations on all the successes of Babae at Baril."
Gutierrez previously won Outstanding Indie Film Actress of the Year at the 2nd Laguna Excellence Awards, Pylon Award for Best Actress at the 7th QCinema International Film Festival and Best Actress at the 43rd Gawad Urian for her performance in the said movie.
Aside from Best Actress, the film also won FAMAS' Best Production Design, Best Film Scoring, Best Editing and Best Cinematography - the latter which tied with "Aswang".
