Janine Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica reunite in "Once Again"
26 Apr - Janine Gutierrez and Aljur Abrenica will be working with each other again this year in the upcoming GMA-7 drama, "Once Again".
As reported on Chisms News, the two stars, who collaborated in last year's morning drama, "Dangwa", will be playing a pair of tragic lovers who prove that love conquers all as they reunite after reincarnation.
"It expresses the limitless beauty of love being true and real through the phenomenon of reincarnation," said Gutierrez when asked about the new drama.
When asked of his thought about working with his "Dangwa" co-star again, Abrenica responded, "I like working with Janine because she's very professional about her craft."
He added that they both have made some research about the religious concept of reincarnation going into production.
In "Once Again", Gutierrez and Abrenica play the role of Reign Soriano and Edgar del Mundo, respectively, whose love was met with much opposition from her parents and their class difference.
In a twist of fate, both lovers passed away and were reincarnated as two different people, who ended up meeting each other and falling in love once again.
Other stars who join Abrenica and Gutierrez include Jean Garcia, Sheryl Cruz, Thea Tolentino, Jeric Gonzales, and Joko Diaz.
