Jamal Abdillah denies slow ticket sales caused postponement of concert

16 Aug – Jamal Abdillah has denied the notion that his upcoming concert has been delayed to a later date due to slow ticket sales.

The legendary singer, whose upcoming show at the KLCC's Plenary Hall was postponed from 9 September to November, stated that he was informed that even the most expensive seats have sold out.

"If you ask me, I am quite disappointed with the postponement, but it is normal for any concert to have technical issues," he added.

When asked about the said issue, Jamal stated that he was told that there was a scheduling conflict for the show's music director, Ahmad Muriz Che Rose of the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra.

However, Jamal stated that he would refrain from making further statement as further information will be released by the organiser, Shiraz Projects.
