Ivy Shao denies breakup because of Chris Wu

1 Mar – Taiwanese actress Ivy Shao recently clarified the real score between her and actor Chris Wu.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress who appeared at an event recently, denied that she is dating Chris, who is also her co-star in "The Perfect Match", and said that she felt sorry that the rumours have also affected ex-boyfriend, Marcus Chang.

Said Ivy, she and Marcus broke up back in August last year after realising that they were too busy to spend time with each other. She denied that it had anything to do with Chris, of whom she was working with on the said drama and was dating Aviis Zhong at the time.

"When we were shooting the drama, Chris and I never actually communicated privately. It's after we met at [screenwriter] Mag Hsu's party that we realised how different we were when we weren't working together," she said, adding that they became good friends since then.

Ivy also stressed that the photos of her and Chris together were nothing more than just two friends having a meal with each other.

In a previous interview, Chris expressed his frustration with rumours of romance between him and Ivy, saying that he felt sorry that the issue is affecting other parties as well.
